Pastrami and Why?

SUBWAY EAT FRESH!!!!!!

    Have you ever watched that subway commercial where the guys are working at the factory and fighting over the sandwich, and in the end the guy that wasn't fighting wound up with the sandwich? I'm sure the first time you watched it, you probably thought to yourself: 

"This commercial is funny"

or

"Oh, just another stupid commercial"

or

"Man, I'm hungry now"

I have had those thoughts as well, for many different commercials. But on my second time watching it when I actually paid attention to it, I noticed something unsettling. There was a clear racial scenario going on in the commercial. Almost as if Subway was predicting our near future.

Do you notice that during most of the commercial a black and white man were fighting each other for the sandwich, I mean they were going at. completely ignoring the work that they were supposed to be doing, and instead fighting over something so minuscule. Then at the end of the commercial some other guy gets the sub and he was busy working the whole time, it just fell into his lap. Now this man was of a different ethnicity, and not to be offensive or anything but to me he looked Hispanic.... 

Now take the time and ask yourself.. What exactly is this commercial trying to say. It could just be an honest commercial talking about how good the new pastrami sub is. 

OR!!!!.......

Maybe they are talking about the fight between the Black and White race, over things that in my opinion should be settled by now, but all the time they are fighting, the other minorities are busy reaping the rewards. 

There are plenty of other ways you can spin this commercial. That's just one of my ideas lol. I could be over thinking it but I like debating.

I haven't blogged anything lately because I've been busy with my summer classes so I thought it was due time for me to post something for my readers. These past two weeks I've been contemplating what I should write about, what might interest you all, and what overall would just be fun to talk about. I chose to talk about the qualities of a good companion, and also to vent about my current situation with someone I'm really into.

Honestly everyone has a particular idea of who they see themselves with, but I think there are a few qualities that should be universal when you are choosing your mate:

1. Respectful
2. Honest
3. Ambition

Too me these are basic like honestly everyone should practice these, but so few people do in reality. I think a great companion is someone who motivates you, supports you and pushes you. In a relationship you're supposed to better each other, otherwise what exactly is the point? A lot of people get stuck in these relationships where it's either completely one-sided or they get into a situation where they are getting held back by the person they are with. That should never have to be the case. Always ask questions before you get into a relationship. No you won't get them all answered, but ask the ones that are most important to you, so you can at least know what you are getting yourself into.

You could also be in that situation where you truly love somebody, but they don't love you or they don't know how to love you. In my opinion that fucking sucks sometimes. But you have to learn to fall back. Especially if you're younger and just getting into the dating scene, it's okay to move on. Sometimes it's for the best. How do you move on? Well shit.... It's different for everyone but honestly when you fall back you should fall back alone. Meaning don't go searching for someone else to date, just take care of you. Cause often when relationships don't work out, it's destiny telling you that at that time you didn't need to be in one.

I mean I've only had one boyfriend in my lifetime no lie, and it ended because I had no business being in one. I wasn't ready. I learned rushing into things aren't beneficial for either person. I mean honestly I was like 16 I didn't even really like the guy, I just liked the fact that he liked me.

But when you really find your soulmate, it's usually the one you didn't go looking for, and sometimes even someone you've crossed paths with before.

Another word of advice, allow your heart to hurt sometimes. Be open to new experiences, let people in, but in a smart way. Because avoidance and isolation won't allow you to prosper.

The Fire We Make

Hey guys,

  Hope you all had a great weekend. I sure did. I learned a lot this weekend about myself and others. You know it's great always having those few close friends or that special significant other, and people often take those relationships for granted. 

  You really should never take those bonds for granted because good and respectful people are hard to come by. I learned this yesterday actually

  You see I had planned this bonfire get together and invited like 8 people. Only three showed up. The other 5 never texted me letting me know that they weren't going to be there, or they were running late. 

  I felt extremely disrespected when I found out that one of the people I invited claime they didn't have a ride, but somehow found their way to the movies with a different group of people.

  I feel as though when you invite someone to your house, that they should be courteous enough to let you know if they are coming or not... Guess that's not common sense for some people ...

  Although it was only three of us it was a great time and I found that not everyone is going to let you down, and even if they do you always have your family. 

  It turned out to be a great weekend and I mean look at that fire!!!! It was a success.

Hello,
  Thank you for finding interest in my blogging page! I can't guarantee you that I will be the most consistent blogger (I'm not the most tech savy). But I can promise you that I will be putting up some entertaining  and easy to relate to topics. This is my first Blogg ever! The reason for the this blog being called Lost N Transition is because:

1. I thought it was a clever title.
2. I'm working on getting my hair back to its natural state.
3. Because I've recently turned 20 and I feel like my journey is just about to begin, and I figured I would share it with you to maybe make your's a little bit easier.
